Last Trial MRI & testing - Good Friday shenanigans!

What a crazy day!  It started off normal for a trial day.  Grabbed my purse, salt water, stool sample and was out the door.  Got there without a hiccup, met with Courtney, and as we walked to labs where they would draw 15 vials of blood I check my phone.  Zach left a message that he might need to go to the emergency room.  Zach has the tenancy to exaggerate, but I call him back anyway to find out about this new world ending calamity.  His stomach hurt so bad he was sure his appendix was about to rupture.  I told him it was probably just gas and to just give it a while and it would pass.  I decide to call my friend Charli and ask her to check on  him anyway...just in case.
Back to testing.  They drained me of 14 vials of blood because Courtney took mercy on me when it started to pinch.  Then we proceeding to the room where I do the cognitive and physical test and they ask some health questions.  That went really well.  I told them I only have some tingle and mild weakness in my right hand that only flare up when I'm too hot.  While waiting for my visit with Dr. Fleming I call Charli to see what's what.  She tells me she called Dean Clinic and while on the phone with a nurse and Matt, Zach doubles over in pain.  She decides to take him to the ER and meet Matt there.  At this point I am actually worried.  The team at UW are super kind and tell me to let them know if I need to leave.  Since Matt was closer than me and was already on his way, I figured I would let him handle it.
Meanwhile, back at the UW Dr. Fleming is running late.  This is a problem.  I have to meet with Dr. Luzzio before my MRI.  Dr Luzzio does the "drunk test" as I like to call it.  It's similar to the test they give suspected drunk drivers with a few added test.  Like, an eye exam, muscle strength, and light poking with a needle to see if it feels the same on both legs, arms, feet, etc.  It's soon apparent that is not going to happen and I would have to come back for a separate visit just for Dr. Luzzio.  Oh, and another stool sample deposit.  So, then we proceed to the MRI when Matt called to update me.
Apparently by the time Matt arrived at the ER Zach was feeling better, because IT WAS JUST GAS!  They don't to check in.  So Charli decides to take him home.  As she is dropping him off several police cars descend on Glen Street!  A man running away from the cops jumps my neighbor's fence to try and get away.  Charli decides it was best to gather both kids and take them to her house.  Thank God she was there!
Right before my MRI I decided to call Charli and get her story of what happened at the ER, and that is when I heard about the cops and the criminal.  The UW trial team is floored by the happenings.  They even went looking for police reports while I was in the MRI machine but didn't fine anything.  I later found out from one of my neighbors that the guy was apprehended. Phew!
